It’s where elegance and entertainment come together! Perfect place for birthdays, anniversaries and date night. If the weather is nice check out their outside seating. Ask for Noelle, she’s amazing! She recommended the Campfire Martini and it did not disappoint! The short ribs were so tender and flavorful. Definitely a must try!! Update: I returned and had the pork chop…it was juicy, flavorful and cooked to perfection!
We have nothing but great things to say about The Winesett House!! We had a party of 20 people for dinner and our waitress Brittani was absolutely fabulous!! There was never an empty glass on the table and all of our food came out hot and at once!! We couldn't have picked a better place for my wife's surprise birthday dinner, Thank You to The Winesett House!!
I had dinner at the Winesett House twice this week and both times were great experiences. The atmosphere is great. The food is very good and the staff is very friendly. The beef, short rib and shrimp is delicious.
Food, service and atmosphere all top notch! Scallops and filet melt in your mouth delicious! Good live (but not too loud) music ..must go!! Even my husband, who doesn't care to eat out, can't wait to get back

The Winesett House opened after 4 months of remodeling after two, back to back, hurricanes. Already one of our favorite dining spots in downtown Punta Gorda we returned yesterday to an amazing meal and the, above and beyond, staff and service. Welcome back!
First time there but, meet friends that have been many many times over the last few years. Sat quickly (with reservations) had drinks and dinner menu immediately and our Waitress was great. Spot on with getting drinks(try the smoked Old Fashion). Wine list was nice with a good selection. I had the lobster bisque as a starter... O my it was good! Cobiafor dinner, my friends had the pork chip and filet. Very fair portion and done extremely well! Everything was very fresh and extremely well plated and presented. The restaurant has just reopened due to closing from Hurricane Helena and Milton. I will be back!
10/10 on everything. Food is fantastic, staff is awesome, and the chef goes out of his way to accommodate Vegan/Vegetarian with awesome and inspired dishes. Highly recommend.
